GIVE IN MEMORY.
When you choose to donate or fundraise in memory of someone special to you, you not only honour their life, your kindness will make a huge impact on the lives of others.
A gift in memory - whether your own pledge to leave a legacy or a collection in memory of someone you love - is a lasting one. With every penny, you will help researchers develop new treatments for brain haemorrhages – and fund vital work to help prevent them before they occur.

There are many different ways to start a legacy of change – and we’re here to help you make that first step.

Funeral Collections.
Collecting donations at a funeral or holding a virtual funeral collection is a way to invite friends and family to support a cause that’s important to you, or the loved one you have lost. It also gives others the opportunity to be part of your loved one’s legacy – to join a community committed to changing the lives of those affected by brain haemorrhages.

With our online Funeral Collections, you can share information about your loved one’s funeral with friends, colleagues and family. It’s also a beautiful space to share photos, thoughts, stories and gather donations in lieu of flowers to honour the person who has died.
Tribute Funds.
A Tribute Fund is your own page to honour your loved one; it’s a space you can build alongside friends and family to share memories and stories.

Together, you can also light candles, add music, photos, videos as well as collect donations to support brain haemorrhage research and prevention. Your page is a special place to celebrate and remember the person who meant so much to you. To learn more about how to set up your page and why it might be the right way to commemorate your loved one, watch the short video below.

Leave a Legacy.
Legacy gifts are an extraordinary act of kindness. By choosing to leave a gift in your Will today, you help secure the future – funding vital brain haemorrhage research and raising awareness of the symptoms so more lives can be saved. Your legacy also helps us be creative about how we reach people, enabling us to develop and expand life-changing programmes, such as our new PSHE curriculum for children. Because we know that equipping people with knowledge that could one day protect themselves or someone they love is the best gift anyone can give.

Just as importantly, these gifts sustain the expert staff and day-to-day operations that keep the charity running effectively. Without the people behind the work, there is no charity. Expertise, dedication and innovation are essential to driving progress, growing our impact and delivering on our mission. A legacy gift ensures we can not only continue this work on behalf of people all over the world, but strengthen and evolve it for the future.
Deciding to pledge a gift to charity is an amazing decision; please read our free Legacy Guide to learn more about how your thoughtfulness today will impact people in the future.
Fundraise in Memory.
For many people, joining together with family and friends to fundraise in honour of someone special is an important part of their grief journey. You could create a group walk or hold an event that offers everyone the opportunity to celebrate your loved one together.
We also have plenty of races and challenges you can undertake in their memory – whatever you choose to do, we are here to help along the way.
