People in a meeting room discuss a presentation on blood pressure. A screen displays "BLOOD PRESSURE." A banner reads "Preventing Brain Haemorrhages."

At The Natalie Kate Moss Trust (NKMT), we’re committed to saving lives through the prevention of brain haemorrhages and the funding of vital research into treatments in order to improve the outcomes after someone experiences a brain haemorrhage. Our mission is clear: to reduce the devastating impact of brain haemorrhages. To do this effectively, we rely on strong partnerships with individuals and organisations who share our vision and we’re incredibly proud to announce a powerful new collaboration with Evaluation Consultants.

A Partnership That Drives Prevention

Evaluation Consultants, an independent construction consultancy, have named NKMT as their charity of the year and committed to raising funds to support a critical new role within NKMT, one that will significantly enhance our prevention efforts across the UK. This role will focus on delivering awareness days: in-person events where we check members of the public's blood pressure, provide one-to-one consultations, and help people understand whether they may need further support or medical treatment to manage their blood pressure effectively.

This work is vital. High blood pressure is the single biggest preventable cause of brain haemorrhages, yet the scale of the issue remains staggering. A third of the population in the UK has high blood pressure, and 50% of those people are completely unaware of it. That means millions are walking around every day with a silent, invisible risk factor, one that can lead to a sudden and often fatal bleed on the brain.

By funding this role, Evaluation Consultants are directly enabling us to reach more people face-to-face, identify those at risk, and potentially save lives through simple early interventions.

Learning, Sharing, and Inspiring Action

The partnership was launched with a powerful Lunch and Learn session delivered by our director, Fiona Moss, at Evaluation Consultants’ offices on Monday 9th June. The event was incredibly well received, sparking thoughtful discussion, personal reflection, and a shared sense of purpose.

Fiona shared her passion for the Trust’s mission and spoke about the wider importance of education, early detection, and corporate collaboration. Reflecting on the day and the partnership as a whole, she said:

“I’m really excited about this partnership, as it’s a truly strategic one, helping us to evolve not only as a charity but also enabling us to reach more people with the incredibly important and potentially life-saving message about the importance of better blood pressure management. We’re so grateful to Evaluation Consultants for their support, and we believe this is only the beginning of many incredible and impactful initiatives to come.”

For Evaluation Consultants, the decision to support NKMT aligns with their core values of integrity, social responsibility, and community impact. As a company that empowers organisations to improve performance and deliver measurable results, they understand the power of purposeful investment. Their team saw not only the urgency of our mission but also the opportunity to make a tangible difference.

Gavin Chandler, CEO of Evaluation Consultants, commented:

“We work in an industry where high blood pressure is a particular risk and something that too many people stick their head in the sand about and we’re hoping to raise awareness of it and hopefully contribute to a charity that’s doing some great work to both raise the awareness of high blood pressure and also to do a lot to prevent and treat the impact of brain haemorrhages."

A Future of Possibilities

As our relationship with Evaluation Consultants grows, so too does our ability to innovate, expand, and reach new communities. This isn’t just about funding a role, it’s about building a movement for change. A movement that starts with one simple but powerful question: “Do you know your blood pressure?”

With partners like Evaluation Consultants by our side, we’re confident that we can drive meaningful change, saving lives today and transforming outcomes for generations to come.
