"

In 2022, I suddenly lost my Mum, Róisín, to a brain haemorrhage. This completely turned mine and my family's lives upside down, as she was only 51 and very healthy. After taking some time to grieve, I decided I wanted to do something in her memory. I knew straight away that I wanted to try and help prevent other families from going through what mine has. I managed to raise £1,050 — which I am so pleased with and so proud of. I will definitely be fundraising for this charity again!

GOT A QUESTION?

  • Yes! UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid to their donations at no extra cost. This means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated, helping your fundraising go even further. Donors simply need to tick the Gift Aid box when making their donation and confirm that they are a UK taxpayer.

  • We understand that fundraising can feel daunting and we’re here to support you every step of the way. The fundraising target helps us cover the cost of your place and fund our vital work, but if you’re struggling, please let us know as early as possible. In most cases, we can offer extra fundraising support, ideas and encouragement. We always aim to be fair and understanding - communication is key.

  • You won’t be doing this alone. We provide:

    • A fundraising pack with ideas and tips to help you get started;

    • One-to-one support if you’re feeling unsure or stuck;

    • Help with setting up and sharing your fundraising page.

    Many runners are surprised by how achievable the target feels once they get going - and we’ll be right there to help you build confidence and momentum.

  • Your NKMT running vest will usually be sent out once the withdrawal deadline has passed and the initial fundraising milestone is reached (if applicable). We’ll let you know exactly when to expect it, but this is typically several weeks before race day, giving you plenty of time to train in it and show off your support!

  • Yes. Once you’ve paid the registration fee, your place in the race is guaranteed. We’ll guide you through the process and confirm everything clearly so you know where you stand.

  • If you find that you can no longer take part, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing fundraising@nataliekatemoss.co.uk

    ,In some cases if the withdrawal deadline has not passed, it may be possible to defer or transfer your place, depending on the race organiser’s rules. If that isn’t an option, we’ll talk things through with you and agree on the best next steps together.

About HOKA Hackney Half Marathon 2027

London's Most Loved Half Marathon

The HOKA Hackney Half returns for another year as part of the HOKA Hackney Moves festival, taking place on 16 May 2027 in East London. With more than 27,000 runners taking part in 2026 and the event selling out in under an hour, it has firmly established itself as London's most popular and most loved half-marathon.

The race takes runners on a flat, closed-road 13.1 mile route through the heart of East London, with live music, cheering crowds, run crew cheer zones and a festival atmosphere from start to finish. The course winds through some of Hackney's best-known streets and landmarks, including Hackney Town Hall, Mare Street, Hackney Wick and Victoria Park, before finishing at Hackney Marshes.

This is part race, part street party, part collective celebration. The best ones don't just pass through a place, they belong to it. And Hackney delivers the lot. Alongside the half marathon, the wider HOKA Hackney Moves festival features a free Community 5K, a night run, and a full weekend of fitness, food and live entertainment.
