When a brain haemorrhage strikes we know that up to 2 million neurons a minute die in an untreated stroke. This is why Every Second Counts.
Funds from this Gala will directly support pioneering research at The Geoffrey Jefferson Brain Research Centre at The University of Manchester focused on revolutionising how brain haemorrhages are identified before hospital arrival, so that the right patients get the right treatment faster.
