Why this all matters?
…There are 4.6 million cases of haemorrhagic stroke every year.
…Only 3 out 5 of these people will survive within one month following a brain haemorrhage.
…Every year 3 million people die as a result of a brain haemorrhage!
These stats haven’t changed in 40 years!
But through the research that we support at The University of Manchester we have an opportunity to change those stats.
Since our inception in 2012, and all thanks to you, our supporters, we have been able to generate more funds each year for this research and each year the research continues to grow and develop; developments which are now directly translating into treatments that are being rolled out nationally and saving lives.
